To develop a software-hardware infrastructure that enables comprehensive monitoring, analysis, and control of the eco-friendly quality of the PET bottle manufacturing process, by using data analytics to learn models of the process behavior and detect anomalies in real-time.

AI REGIO SOLUTION:

​

Development of the GreenPET system, which is based on the Data4AI platform and an additional technology asset from the catalogue (D2 Anomaly Analyzer and Predictor - AI asset) that will be responsible for prompt reaction to quality issues. The system will enable comprehensive monitoring, analysis, and control of the eco-friendly quality of PET bottle manufacturing processes, focusing on energy and emissions.

EXPECTED BENEFITS:

  • The PET bottle manufacturing SME will become more competitive in environmentally friendly production

  • The technology provider (IT) will expand their portfolio with environmentally friendly quality control development/consulting

  • The DIH will upgrade its offerings by providing services for AI-based sustainable manufacturing

This experiment aims to develop a monitoring and analyzing service for PET bottle manufacturing, focused on eco-friendly process quality, to promptly react to any quality issues and improve the process. This will be achieved by using data analytics to learn the process behavior and derive recommendations for process improvement, with a focus on energy and emissions.
