Current operating and human-machine interaction concepts require users to operate systems manually with their hands, causing interruptions in work processes. To address this, voice assistant systems can be used parallel to work processes without interruptions, but the large amount of background noise on the shop floor limits their use.

AI REGIO SOLUTION:

To develop and demonstrate an intelligent AI-based background noise suppression service that can be used as a pre-processing component for voice assistant solutions. The service aims to enable an immersive human-technology interaction via voice commands directly on the shop floor without interrupting work processes. AI technology will be used to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of the noise suppression service and make it more adaptable to different manufacturing environments.

Goal of this experiment is to develop an AI-based background noise suppression service as an out-of-the-box solution over an AI-on-demand platform to enable immersive human-technology interaction via voice commands directly on the shop floor without interrupting work processes.
